What to Bring
The approach to the different climbing areas can take between 5 to 15 minutes. Wear shoes appropriate for walking on dirt trails and over rock. Closed toe shoes such as boots or tennis shoes are fine. Sandals are not recommended.
Lunch and Snacks
Bring food that can be transported easily and does not require much preparation. Granola/Energy bars, Fruits, Nuts, PB&J's, Trail Mix, or Jerky are some ideas that work well.
Bring plenty of fluids such as water or Gatorade. There are no convenient areas near the climbing area to get water. We recommend bringing at least 12 to 16 ounces of water per hour of climbing, and to bring a minimum of 32 ounces.
Bring athletic type clothing that is non restrictive and quick drying such as polyester. Dressing in layers is recommended when climbing in colder temperatures. Trips will not be canceled due to weather unless heavy rain or dangerous weather exists.
Bring any prescribed medications that you may need such as an inhaler or Epi-pen.
All participants are required to sign a Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk Agreement. You may download the form and print it out, or fill the form out upon arrival to the park.
